Director on fleet buildup: "The tasks should not go to Danish shipyards at any cost"

According to the new head of the ship designers Knud E. Hansen, Denmark's shipbuilding industry does not have the capacity for a rapid buildup. He urges looking further out on the world map

Javier Suárez is the name of the new head of the Danish ship design company Knud E. Hansen—and he doesn't approach the director's chair with kid gloves.

- Danish shipyards alone cannot handle the tasks at a pace that matches Denmark's needs. It takes time to reach the necessary capacity, and the industry is simply not where it needs to be.
