Global supply chains are in a state of limbo. Extensive U.S. tariffs and political unpredictability have put exporters, importers, and freight forwarders worldwide in a holding pattern.
This is according to Lars Jensen, an independent shipping analyst and CEO of Vespucci Maritime, in a market update following the U.S. president's two-step announcement of extensive tariffs on exports to the U.S. made last Wednesday.
