The EU and the UK have introduced new sanctions against Russia aimed at hitting the country’s economy and shadow fleet.
This is reported by the shipping insurance company Skuld in a review of the latest sanction packages from the EU and the UK.
On February 24, the EU and the UK simultaneously tightened the screws on one of the key sources of revenue for financing Russia’s war machine with a new wave of restrictions targeting parts of the country’s economy, as well as its financial, trade, transport, and energy sectors.
