The owner of the Oslo ferry is investing a billion sum in a new catamaran

The vessel will be built in Australia and will be the shipyard's largest catamaran project to date

A new 130-meter-long catamaran is on its way to the Swedish shipping company Gotlandsbolaget.

The company has just announced that it has placed an order with the Australian shipyard Austal, which is set to deliver the vessel in mid-2028. The ship will be powered by a combination of gas turbines and a multi-fuel solution.
