Technical Superintendent

On behalf of one of our clients, MARPRO is looking for a Technical Superintendent to join a team of approx. 35 colleagues who manage a growing fleet of container feeder vessels. The company is based near Hamburg. You will report directly to the Technical Fleet Manager.
Responsibilities
- Regular inspections of the vessels
- Planning, monitoring, and coordinating repairs and maintenance
- Preparation and execution of dry-dockings
- Acting as point of contact for vessel crews, service providers, authorities, etc.
- Planning and implementing measures to optimize operations
Qualifications
- A degree in Marine Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Sufficient experience in the maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Ideally, professional experience as a Technical Superintendent or appropriate sea time
- Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written
