For our newly formed measurements team, we are looking for an additional Team Member who will take part in and  arrange the plan for Tests – Equipment – Reporting – Trouble Shooting. The Measurement Team is part of our R&D Engineering Team and consists of a Colleague who performs our Emissions Measurements, a Colleague who performs our Noise & Vibrations Measurements, and finally an Operator who handles all the equipment and ensures all is ready for action.

You will be the fourth Colleague for the team and take part in measurement campaigns, small as large tasks with our Customers (mainly the Technical Project Management), you will have or gain a broad knowledge of related measurements, Emissions, Structural Borne Noise, Air borne Noise and Vibrations – and troubleshooting via Root Couse Analysis, when things are not as expected.

You will play an important role in:

  • Planning of Measurements
  • Arranging the accurate content of measurement campaigns
  • Ensuring equipment is in good condition and available
  • Installation of Equipment and Performing the actual Measurement.
  • Keeping track of new regulations on Engine Emissions
  • Keeping up with new Technologies in your field of work
  • Trouble Shooting on Exceedances in Limits

We imagine that you:

  • Are a Mechanical Engineer , Marine Engineer or you have other relevant Education
  • Have Knowledge of Structural Noise Measurements & Analysis
  • Have Knowledge of Airborne Noise Measurements & Analysis
  • Have Project Management skills, not a must but an advantage
  • Preferably have Knowledge of Emissions Measurements
  • Good networking capabilities.
  • Persistent and communicative.
  • Able to operate under pressure even if things do not happen according to plan.

We are currently 18 colleagues, you will be our 19th  colleague, we are a mix of Mechanical Engineers,  Marine Engineers, Mechanics, Machinists and Ships Fitters. We handle the Engine R&D Tests for the 175D HighSpeed Engine family as well as other R&D Tests conducted in Frederikshavn.

In our Department we are several minor teams, we are 4 colleagues in our Field Test Team, we are 6 colleagues in the R&D Test Team, 3 Engineers and 3 Operators, currently, we are 3 colleagues in the Measurement Team, 2 Engineers and 1 Operator, you will be the 4th member on this team. The rest of us are handling Engine Performance, Parametrization and Control Systems, Measurement Equipment Maintenance etc.

We are a dynamic and quick-paced department, that enjoys each other’s company both in the working hours but also occasionally in our free time. We are working closely together with many sister departments in our head offices in Augsburg Germany, where we also occasionally travel to for presenting our results and planning future tasks, and general Training as well.
