Technical Superintendent Position
We are seeking a Technical Superintendent to join our team, either at our office in Grenaa or alternatively in Kastrup, reporting directly to the Technical Director. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in maintaining and expanding Rohde Nielsen’s growing fleet of specialised vessels.
The Role
As a Technical Superintendent, you will manage a group of vessels in close cooperation with the rest of the technical team. The primary duties include assisting and supporting the vessels, ensuring continuous development and maintenance. You will handle all technical aspects, including technical problem solving, planning of dockings, service, repairs, maintenance and inspections. Operating from Grenaa or alternatively Kastrup, you should be prepared for significant travel activity as the role requires frequent visits to vessels and shipyards.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to vessels, efficiently solving operational challenges.
- Supervise both minor and major repairs, maintenance, as well as routine and specialised inspections.
- Plan, execute, and follow up on dockings, ensuring all work meets high standards.
- Assist with the implementation of project-related technical solutions.
Professional Qualifications
- You are a Marine Engineer or Dual Officer by education.
- Proven sailing experience.
- Hands-on experience with repairs, maintenance, inspections, and dockings.
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities.
Personal Characteristics
- Independent and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Quick learner with a dynamic and innovative mindset.
- IT-savvy, with the ability to adapt to new systems and tools.
- Resides within a reasonable commuting distance of Grenaa or Kastrup.
- Prepared for regular travel to vessels and shipyards as required.
