Warehouse and Production Worker - Scanjet Marine

On behalf of Scanjet, MARPRO is looking for a Warehouse & Production Worker. In this role, you will ensure smooth and efficient operations within the warehouse and production areas, contributing to the overall success of Scanjet.
Key duties
- Perform tasks within the work area. Main responsibilities include:Handling incoming goods.
- Measuring and visually inspecting purchased parts against drawings or instructions.
- Measuring and visually inspecting self-manufactured parts.
- Conducting receiving inspections and recording arrivals.
- Managing inventory.
- Preparing goods for shipping.
- Picking up/delivering goods as needed.
- Manufacturing hoses as needed.
- Striving for a good working environment and well-being within the work area.
- Following work descriptions and procedures within the work area and reporting any deviations to the manager.
- Working to ensure that agreed-upon schedules and delivery times are met.
- Signing off and reporting completed work.
- Meeting production and quality goals within the work area.
- Contributing to flexibility by participating in training and working in other areas when required.
- Maintaining and taking care of equipment to avoid unplanned stoppages.
- Ensuring order and cleanliness in the workplace.
- Handling timekeeping procedures.
Professional Qualifications
- Middle school diploma or equivalent with technical certification in production, workshop or material QC inspection. High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
- Working experience as a material QC inspector, warehouse worker or workshop mechanic.
- Good knowledge of tasks within the work area, including reading drawings and measurement techniques.
- Excellent planning and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Dutch.
- Independent, collaborative and thrive in a Global team environment.
- Cross-cultural awareness and motivation to adapt.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail including ability to multitask.
- Holds a B-class driving license and a forklift license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and understanding of ERP systems, especially stock & production module.
- Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
