Crew Manager - M.H Simonsen

On behalf of M.H Simonsen, MARPRO is looking for a Crew Manager.

As a Crew Manager at M.H Simonsen, you will be at the forefront of our operations, responsible for overseeing the crew’s activities and ensuring the smooth functioning of our vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of crew management, including recruitment, certification, planning, and travel arrangements.
• Coordinate closely with captains and manning agencies to ensure optimal manning of the vessels.
• Maintain strong relationships with our seafarers, ensuring familiarity and trust.
• Oversee crew rotation, evaluation, recruitment, promotion, and training.
• Ensure compliance with STCW and MLC regulations.

Your qualifications:

• Experience in the maritime industry, preferably within crew management.
• Knowledge of relevant maritime legislation and industry standards.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong general IT skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Understand Danish.
• Able to attend the office in Svendborg on a daily basis.
• Living on, or willing to relocate to, Funen.
• Team player and a fast learner.
