On behalf of Cargo Care Solutions, MARPRO is currently seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join their Cargo Access Division, where you will take care of spare part sales to clients all over the world.

The job

Cargo Care Solutions is a fast growing platform for all requirements in the field of cargo related ship’s equipment. The company is setup in different divisions, each having its own focus. All divisions provide spare parts, services and engineering related to cargo in the maritime industry.

The Cargo Access Division’s main focus lies on servicing cargo access equipment on sea-going vessels such as hatch covers, RoRo-equipment, watertight doors, etc. Cargo Care Solutions has an extensive background in the field of cargo access equipment as the company has been created out of the former service networks of MACOR Neptun and SEOHAE Marine System, well known players on the newbuilding market.

In 2010 Cargo Care Solutions have recognized the market need for an independent, global and all-round supplier of parts and services for the many different brands of cargo access equipment. Therefore Cargo Care Solutions works with the key players in the maritime industry.

In this position you handle the client spare part needs with a 360 degrees view, from receipt of the inquiry, up to delivery of the goods. You will be in close contact with our customers in order to identify their needs and provide correct and competitive offers. Key challenge is to also manage the purchase and logistics to make sure that our customers receive their parts on time.

We offer a proactive and intensive onboarding process and after this process, you and your colleagues are responsible for pursuing our high standards and supporting the further development of the company.

Additional responsibility

  • You support our Sales Managers, translating their feedback from clients to concrete actions.
  • You take care of a quick reply to any client inquiries for cargo access spares, immediately identifying the exact requirement of the customer.
  • You provide the customer with a technically correct and competitive quotation.
  • You manage the supply chain in order to have on-time deliveries of spares.
  • You follow up after delivery for client feedback and continuous improvement.
  • You play a vital role in developing Cargo Care Solutions’ business all over the globe.

Your qualifications

  • You have relevant working experience
  • You have a MBO or HBO diploma
  • You have affinity with (maritime) technology
  • You are able to communicate clearly and fluently in both English and Dutch
  • Any additional language skills are considered beneficial
  • Strong customer focus and service minded mentality
  • Experience in the maritime business
  • Experience in International Sales
  • You are reliable and responsible
