Technical Project Manager - Bawat

On behalf of BAWAT, MARPRO Group is looking for a Technical Project Manager for the office in Hørsholm. You will report to the CTO of the company.

Bawat A/S is a Danish-owned company that offers a unique green solution for treating ballast water. This green technology uses neither chemicals nor additional energy, which makes it unique among the market’s competing solutions. It is IMO and USCG approved and patented. Moreover, a unique feature of the technology is that it can be used to great advantage in both ports and shipyards. Bawat delivers BWMS to both the retrofit- and newbuilding market and has a unique market position for the shore-based container unit systems.

The job

As Technical Project Manager, you will be a central part of our engineering department, ensuring successful execution of projects from order to commissioning. You will manage the full process, coordinating service jobs with technicians, preparing invoices, handling aftersales orders and providing technical support and troubleshooting in close dialogue with owners. Clear and effective communication with stakeholders will be key, and you will report directly to the CTO.

In addition, you will take an active role in the field, with some travel for ship inspections, installation supervision and system commissioning. This position offers a dynamic mix of hands-on technical involvement, project management and stakeholder coordination, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact in delivering sustainable maritime solutions.

Professional qualifications

• A relevant technical background (Marine Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Naval Architect)
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant technical project management experience
• Hands-on experience, strong technical insight and commercial understanding
• Must be EU citizen with valid work permit in Denmark
