On behalf of DESMI, MARPRO Group is looking for a Area Sales Manager Marine, for the office in Nørresundby. You will report to the Global Country Manager of the company.

The job

As Area Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales activities in the Nordic maritime market, focusing on DESMI’s energy optimization system, OptiSave™, as well as pumps and related solutions. Your target customers include shipowners, shipyards, and maritime companies in Denmark, Iceland, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Finland. With a strong technical profile and marine sales experience, you will cultivate trust-based relationships with clients and distributors. You will be actively on the move, with more than 60 travel days a year. You will join a highly skilled and independent sales team.

Professional qualifications

  • Technical background or education or alternatively relevant work experience (e.g., Marine Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Dual Officer, Navigator or similar)
  • Motivation to work with technical sales
  • Knowledge of the maritime industry
  • Ability to prepare and negotiate technical and commercial proposals
  • Skilled in coordinating with internal departments and external partners
  • Proficient in Danish and English (spoken and written)
