On behalf of VMS Group in Frederikshavn, Denmark, MARPRO Group is looking for an experienced and ambitious Sales Manager to join the project sales department. In this key role, you will help drive the commercial growth journey – combining your technical insight with sharp business acumen.

Your key responsibilities

As our new Sales Manager, you will play a central role in driving project sales and setting the commercial direction for VMS Group A/S. Travel activity should be expected in connection with customer visits and events.

Your responsibilities will include

• Selling new products and technical solutions including propulsion systems, diesel-electric packages, energy optimization, engineering, project management, and system integration.
• Defining and managing budgets, forecasts, and sales strategies.
• Identifying and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the maritime industry – including shipowners, shipyards, and technology providers.
• Managing the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
• Working closely with our technical and engineering teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
• Representing VMS Group at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.

Professional competencies required for this role

• Proven experience in B2B sales – preferably in project sales or system integration
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A results-driven mindset and a passion for achieving sales goals
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Bonus qualifications

• Experience in the maritime industry or related sectors
• A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or similar
