On behalf of Bawat, MARPRO Group is looking for a Chief Sales Officer to join the team in Hørsholm, and lead the global sales efforts, driving growth, building strong customer relationships, and establishing BAWAT as a professional partner for ballast water treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of the global sales strategy. Identify and target new market opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by managing a high-performing sales team and achieving sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the maritime industry, including ship owners, fleet managers, shipyards, and regulatory bodies.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering department, and customer support teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients.

Professional Competencies Required

  • Proven Sales Leadership: 5+ years of experience in a senior sales management role within the maritime industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the maritime sector.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing high-value customer relationships.
  • Team Management: Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team to succeed.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • CRM & Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in using CRM tools and data analysis to track sales performance.
  • Fluency in English: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
