We are now looking for an energetic and talented profile who, with great drive and commitment, will join our business development team, responsible for new sales of G&O Compensators globally.

Reducing vibrations increases operational flexibility, lowers maintenance costs, reduces fuel consumption, and improves crew health. An exciting, very independent, and varied job
As our new Area Sales Manager, you will work with exciting and varying tasks such as: 

  • Proactive develop and management of sales from leads to new customers
  • Manage and extent business with current customers, as well as account management for key customers
  • Develop awareness of the value of G&O Compensators among engine builders, ship owners and shipyards
  • Consultative project selling of technical solutions and sparring with customers
  • Preparation, follow-up and negotiation of offers and frame agreements
  • Setting sales budgets, visit and activity plans as well as ensuring updating of the customer database
  • Order handover and delivery of order information to internal department

Our new Area Sales Manager
You will act in a global and complex project sales environment of customers and stakeholders with different needs. You will develop and manage a solid pipeline of sales projects, where the primary customers are engine builders, ship owners and shipyards. You should expect approximately 60-70 travel days a year.

Your qualifications
Today, you may be in a similar job working with international project sales, or maybe you already come from the marine industry and are ready for career development. You don’t necessarily have 15 years of experience; we will of course make sure that you are prepared for the task.

You either have a commercial background with strong technical flair or a technical background, as a marine engineer, technician or similar and preferably with some commercial experience or large commercial interests. It is an advantage if you have commercial or practical experience from the marine industry with solution sales of technical products.

You are comfortable working with CRM and significant experience with IT (Office suite) at user level, is necessary to hold the position. Furthermore, you are comfortable with written and verbal English.
