How you will make a difference at FSC
As the project is still in the design phase, you'll be involved in the design and, over time, the construction phase. Together with the teams assigned to you, you will be responsible for the construction of both the Danish and German sides of the link.

As FSC's Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Manager, you will be employee number 4 here in Denmark and will play a key role in the success of our Fehmarn Belt Tunnel project.

You will work closely together with the rest of the management team and develop all QHSE activities for our construction site. You will be our point of contact with the Client on all aspects of QHSE.

As our new QHSE Manager, we envisage that you will:

  • ensure that our tunnel construction project complies with all safety regulations and standards. You will identify and mitigate hazards, conduct risk assessments, develop emergency response plans, and oversee incident reporting.
  • implement quality assurance and control processes to ensure that construction work conforms to design specifications and conduct regular quality audits.
  • Keep up to date with environmental regulations, conduct impact assessments, and minimize the project's environmental footprint.
  • communicate safety, quality, and environmental requirements clearly to project stakeholders.

So, who are we looking for?
You possess a can-do attitude and take responsibility for tasks until completion while inspiring and motivating others. You are ambitious, motivated by working with diverse colleagues, and can apply analytical and critical thinking while adapting easily to change.

To excel in this role, you should have the following track record:

  • Have more than 5 years of experience in QHSE Management
  • 7+ years’ experience in Electrical and Mechanical installation or construction supervision
  • Safety management experience – Tunnel experience is preferred
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree e.g. Engineering
  • Certifications such as CFPA-E and CEM are a plus.
