Job description
Monjasa is a leading global partner in the oil and shipping industry who believes strongly in driving Personal Business. You will join a team of three shipping professionals, who handle the logistics behind our bunker operations in North Europe. Your primary role is to deal with daily operations such as ensuring smooth deliveries and coordination of loadings in cooperation with local authorities, customers and other stakeholders. Furthermore, you are the go-to person on technical matters and the overall supervisor of Monjasa’s terminal in Skaw, Denmark. Thus, it is important that you can tackle complex situations and are able to communicate about technical subjects on different levels to the organisation.

Areas of focus

  • Vessel operations
  • Focal point of contact for technical questions from the organisation e.g. the Traders
  • Contact with the authorities
  • Environmental approvals and supervision
  • Purchase of equipment to new and existing vessels such as pipes and flowmeters
  • Supervisor of the terminal in Skaw
  • Teach in the internal Monjasa Academy in relevant courses
  • Take part of the rotating on-call duty in the team

Your professional skills

  • Relevant technical education e.g. Marine Engineer or Dual Officer
  • Experience with operations is required
  • Knowledge of HSEQ and a general technical understanding are an advantage
  • IT proficient – Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus
  • Fluent in written/oral English and Danish
