The British have imposed their toughest sanctions package to date on Russia's oil exports, which includes ships suspected of sabotaging underwater infrastructure in the Baltic Sea

The United Kingdom has launched its largest-ever sanctions package against Russia's seaborne oil exports.

The sanctions target up to 100 new "decayed and dangerous oil tankers," which, according to the British government, have transported Russian oil worth over $24 billion (160 billion DKK) since the start of 2024.
