See DFDS workhorse's final journey to the ship graveyard

Søfart's photographer was on the spot when 'Finlandia' arrived at Esbjerg Port, where the ship will be scrapped at Smedegaarden

'Finlandia' ran aground in Norway in December 2024, and as a result, the insurance company declared it to be scrapped.

DFDS CEO Torben Carlsen told Søfart that the scrapping occurs on a "sad background."

Smedegaarden states that the vessel measures 162 x approximately 20 meters in width, with a deadweight tonnage (LDT) of 5,772 tons.
