After the warning: - It shouldn't surprise anyone

Critical media coverage has prompted the Danish Maritime Authority to write to the country's pilotage services to emphasize the pilots' duty to report on ships in Danish waters

Last week, it was revealed that the Danish Maritime Authority had circulated an email to the country's pilotage services reminding them of the pilots' enhanced reporting duty.

Erik Merkes Nielsen, CEO of DanPilot, the largest pilotage service in the country, confirms that they have also received the email.
