Mærsk aims to invest billions in existing terminal after failed expansion

APM Terminals has a clear plan for expanding capacity after the failed port expansion in Aarhus

The port operator APM Terminals, owned by A.P. Møller Mærsk, is ready to spend 2 billion DKK on making better use of the space at Aarhus Port.

This is reported by DR.

The announcement comes after the planned expansion of the port was completely halted on Wednesday.

- Now that a decision has been made not to expand the port, it is our task to come up with a solution for how we can best service the space we have available, says CEO of APM Terminals, Keith Svendsen to DR.
