HSEQ & Sustainability Coordinator

On behalf of VMS Group, MARPRO is currently seeking a HSEQ & Sustainability Coordinator to join their HSEQ team in Frederikshavn, Denmark. You will play a pivotal part in driving initiatives forward within health, safety, environment, quality, and sustainability.
The Job:
The HSEQ department has many stakeholders in the organization, both locally and internationally. The department is determent to improve on health, safety, environmental, quality and sustainability. Your work is a significant driving force in implementing, maintaining, and developing on these areas. You will report directly to the Global Group HSEQ Manager, while you will work closely across the whole organization and drive an impact.
The HSEQ department encompasses all aspects of compliance, data analysis, product documentation, and reporting within the HSEQ and Sustainability area. Therefore, it is imperative that you possess a drive to influence behavioral change as well as the desire to establish and build new procedures and related documentation from scratch, as HSEQ is a new area at VMS.
Additional responsibilities:
- Update and maintain incoming incident reports.
- Manage HSEQ documentation and update internal databases.
- Develop and enhance HSEQ standards and action plans.
- Assist in HSEQ activities such as internal audits and local workshops.
- Participate in sustainability activities, implementing new practices and collecting data for reporting.
Your professional qualifications:
- Education as Master Mariner or Dual Officer or from a similar position from another industry.
- Experience in HSEQ work and knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Ability to navigate in EU-legislation, rules, and regulations regarding sustainability.
- Are proficient IT-user.
- You are fluent in written and spoken Danish and English.
